Floyd Clarence (Manch) Sauls Floyd, 67, resident of Rte. 1 Jeffersonville, died in a Dublin hospital early yesterday. Funeral services will be held at 3pm today in the Prospect Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert Kea and the Rev. Milton Adams will officiate and burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Allen, Simon Allen, Larry Bryant, D. L. Collins, Levi Sauls, and Delmas Crosby. Mr. Floyd was born in Twiggs County, the son of Fred Floyd and Mrs. Donna Sauls Floyd, and had lived in Jeffersonville all of his life. A farmer, Mr. Floyd was a member of the Prospect Methodist Church and a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Mary Lou Hasty of Jeffersonville; one son, Harris Floyd of Macon; three daughters, Mrs. Leland Maddox and Mrs. A. C. Lee, both of Macon and Mrs. Allen Chance of Danville; one brother, Charlie Floyd of Jeffersonville; one sister, Mrs. Susie Crosby of Sandersville; and 11 grandchildren.
