Church St. died Thursday in a Macon hospital after a brief illness. Services will be held at 11am Saturday in Allgood Memorial Chapel in Jeffersonville. Burial will be in Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County. The Revs. Angus Hart and Tim Bagwell will officiate. A native of Twiggs County, Mr. Floyd was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church. He was a mine operator for the Georgia Kaolin Co. and was a World War II Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Roslyn P. Floyd of Jefffersonville; a daughter, Sherry Moye of Jeffersonville; a son, Glenn Floyd of Macon; two sisters, Almedia Floyd of Jeffersonville and Sara Newby of Cochran; four brothers, Wilson Floyd, William Floyd, and M. J. Floyd, all of Jeffersonville and Stanley Floyd of Danville; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight in the funeral home.
