                Jeffersonville Youth Dies In Twiggs County Mishap
 Funeral services for Herman Woodrow Floyd, 18, of Jeffersonville, who was 
killed in a motorcycle accident Tuesday night, will be held at 11am tomorrow 
at the Four County Funeral Home in Jeffersonville. Burial will be in the 
Prospect Methodist Church Cemetery.
 Floyd was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Floyd. 
 He had played baseball at a field near Mt. Zion Church and was riding his 
motorcycle home when the accident occured.
 Twiggs County Chief Deputy A. N. Simpson said Floyd passed another vehicle 
and collided head on with a vehicle driven by Ernest Lee Burnett, also of 
Jeffersonville, who received slight injuries.
 The accident took place on Bill Faulk Road near State Route 358, 
approximately eight miles south of Jeffersonville.
 Survivors other than his parents include a brother, Dudley Mercer Floyd; 
maternal grandmother, Mrs. Homer Lucas; and one nephew, all of Jeffersonville.

Herman was born 2 Sep 1954 to Dudley Wilson Floyd Sr. and Lois Marie Floyd 
Floyd. Georgia death certificate #018510.
