(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net February 18, 2012, 9:01 pm The Cochran Journal 10-26-1977 Page 1B Miss Annie Lou Floyd Funeral services for Miss Annie Lou Floyd, 77, of Route 1 Danville, who died Saturday at noon in the Bleckley County Hospital following a long illness, were held Monday afternoon at three o'clock in the Prospect Methodist Church in Twiggs County. The services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Richard Trawick. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery. Miss Floyd was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County. She was a retired seamstress and was a member of Prospect Methodist Church. Survivors include one brother, Terrell Floyd of Route 1 Jeffersonville; two sisters, Mrs. Janie Floyd of Route 1 Jeffersonville and Mrs. Mary Fowler of Route 1 Danville; also a number of nieces and nephews. The pallbearers were Wilson Floyd, Stanley Floyd, Billy Ray Floyd, Henbree Floyd, Cecil Gordon, and John S. Floyd. Fisher Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
