                                 Mrs. Fowler Passes
 Mrs. Marcella Fowler, widow of the late Dan Fowler, died at her home near Mt. 
Zion Saturday morning April 4th following a stroke of paralysis.
 The deceased was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was loved 
and esteemed by all who knew her. Since the death of her husband, a nephew, 
Mr. C. F. Fowler, resided with her.
 Besides other relatives, she is survived by one son, Mr. Chas. S. Fowler, and 
three grandchildren, Messers. Nelson and Eaulas, and Miss Lavonia Fowler.
 Funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. B. Wingfield at the family 
cemetery Sunday morning, April the fifth.

Additional Comments:
Marcella was born 20 May 1850 to Alfred Chance and Nancy Smith Chance. Georgia 
death certificate #13500.
