Sallie Lou (maiden name Stevens) Fowler was born 12-22-1875 and died 10-6-1950
(GA DC# 25957) and is buried at Mt. Zion in Twiggs County. Her husband, William
Henry Fowler Jr. is buried in the Fowler cemetery in Twiggs County.

Mrs. Sallie S. Fowler

Funeral services for Mrs. Sallie Stevens Fowler were conducted by Rev. M. J.
Bennett and Rev. J. E. Townsend at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Saturday morning.
Mrs. Fowler died at her home on Friday morning, following a long illness. She
was the daughter of the late Edward Stevens and Mrs. Faithy Lee Stevens of
Twiggs County.

Mrs. Fowler is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dud Carter and one son, Avner
Fowler; two grandchildren, Mrs. LaVerne Brewer and Willis Carter; four brothers,
M. H., R. L., Emmett and Ed Stevens; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Fowler and Mrs.
Faithy Nobles.
