Cochran Journal
Lloyd M. Fowler was born 7-25-1902 and died 4-10-1966 (GA DC# 008150) and is
buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Twiggs County. His parents, John H. "Johnny"
Fowler and Dollie J. Arnold Fowler are buried at Cool Springs Primitive Baptist
Church Cemetry in Twiggs County.

 Lloyd M. Fowler

Funeral services for Lloyd M. Fowler, 63, of Rte. 1, Danville, who died early
Sunday morning in the Providence Nursing Home here, were held on Monday
afternoon at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Twiggs County. Services were
conducted by Rev. Arthur T. Faircloth, Rev. Ronald Presley, and Rev. M. J.
Bennett. Burial was in the family lot in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Mr. Fowler was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County, a member of the Mt. Zion
Baptist Church, and a retired farmer.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jack E. Davidson of Cochran; two brothers,
Dan and John Senate Fowler, both of Rte. 1, Danville; three grandchildren ; one
niece and two nephews.
The deacons of Mt. Zion served as honorary pallbearers. Active pallbearers were
Charlie Grimsley, Danny Fowler, Bill Fowler, John Henry Fowler, Gene Frost, and
Doyle Moore.
Fisher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
