Ruby Lee (maiden name Sanders) Fowler was born 7-13-1907 and died 7-17-1986 (GA
DC # 027683) and is buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Twiggs County. Her husband,
Daniel B. "Dan" Fowler, as well as her parents, Reuben G. Sanders and Ida
Phillips Sanders, are also buried there.

 Ruby Lee Fowler

DANVILLE---Ruby Lee Sanders Fowler, 79, died Thursday in a Jeffersonville
nursing home. She was a former employee of Macon Shirt Co. and Naval Ordance Plant.
Services will be held at 3PM Saturday in Mount Zion Baptist Church in Danville.
Burial will be in the church cemetery. Elder Franklin Bryant and Rev. Paul Jones
will officiate.
A lifelong resident of Twiggs County, Mrs. Fowler was a member of Mount Zion
Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Grimsley of Danville; two sons, Danny W.
Fowler and Ken Fowler, both of Danville; three sisters, Gladys Cannon and Bertha
S. Leverett, both of Macon and Opal S. Daugherty of Portsmouth, Va.; eight
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Grimsley
Sr., Route 1, Danville.
The family will greet friends from 7 until 9PM today in Allgood Memorial Chapel
in Jeffersonville.
The body will be placed in the church one hour before services.
