James E. "Jim" Fowler was born 7-19-1894 and died 6-16-1982 (GA DC# 021658) and
is buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Twiggs County. His parents, Frank F. Fowler
and Mary Ellen "Ellie" Ardell Stevens Fowler, are also buried there.

Mr. Fowler

DANVILLE---Jim E. Fowler, 87, died Wednesday in a Dublin hospital. Services will
be held at 3PM today in Mount Zion Baptist Church in Twiggs County. Burial will
be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Jeff Slaughter and the Rev. Charles Clary
will officiate.
Mr. Fowler, a native of Twiggs County, was a retired Justice of the Peace after
over 25 years and was a retired farmer. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include two brothers, Walker Fowler of Warner Robins and Newt Fowler
of Dublin; and a sister, Mrs. Alma Nobles of Danville.
The body will be in the church at 2PM today.
The family will be at the residence of Mrs. Alma Nobles on Route 1.
Fisher Funeral Home of Cochran has charge of arrangements.
