William I. Fowler was born 1-27-1905 and died 7-26-1987 (GA DC# 026346) and is
buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in twiggs County. His parents, Joseph "Joe" M.
Fowler and Mollie Robinson Fowler are also buried there.

DANVILLE---William I. Fowler of Route 1, an 82 year old retired employee of
Twiggs County Public Roads Department, died Sunday in a Macon hospital.
Services will be held at 3PM Monday in Mount Zion Baptist Church in Twiggs
County. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Revs. Paul Wesley Jones and
Jeff Slaughter will officiate.
A native of Twiggs County, Mr. Fowler was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Fowler of Danville; four sons, Joseph Fowler,
Norman Fowler, William Fowler, and Frank Fowler, all of Danville; 10
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The body will be placed in the church at 2PM today.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Frank Fowler, Route 1, Danville.
Mathis Funeral Home in Cochran has charge of arrangements.
