Jordan Leon Fowler was born 11-9-1907 and died 6-13-1956 (GA DC# 15020) and is
buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Twiggs County. His parents, Frank F. Fowler and
Mary Ellen "Ellie" Ardell Stevens Fowler are also buried there.

Jordan L. Fowler

DANVILLE, June 14---Funeral services for Jordan L. Fowler, 48, of Danville, who
died unexpectedly Wednesday night at his home, will be held Friday at 4PM at the
Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Elder J. F. Little and Elder Rubert Nobles will
officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Mr. Fowler was born in Twiggs County, the son of the late Frank and Ellie
Stevens Fowler, and had lived there all of his life. He was engaged in farming
and was a member of the Mt. Zion Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth Horne Fowler; two sons, James I. Fowler
and Thomas F. Fowler, Danville; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Adkins, Macon,
Mrs. Asa Nobles, Danville, and Mrs. Arthur Hasty, Jeffersonville; five brothers,
Jim Fowler, Mark Fowler, and Bob Fowler, Danville, Newt Fowler, Jeffersonville
and Walker Fowler, Cochran; one sister, Mrs. C. L. Nobles, Danville; two
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
