Zion Cemetery in Twiggs County. Her husband, Joseph "Joe" M. Fowler is also buried there. From The Cochran Journal 4-1968 Page 10 Mrs. Mollie R. Fowler Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie R. Fowler, 89, of Rte. 1, Danville in Twiggs County who died last Thursday morning in the Laurens County Memorial Hospital, were held Saturday morning in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The services were conducted by Elder J. F. Little and Rev. Lamar Williams. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Mrs. Fowler was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County, the widow of the late Joseph M. Fowler and was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, William I. Fowler of Rte. 1, Danville; five grandsons, Riley Fowler of Macon, Joe Fowler, Harold Fowler, and William A. Fowler, all of Danville, and Franklin Fowler of the US Army in Ft. Ord, California; five granddaughters, Mrs. Floyd Hunnicutt of Lizella, Mrs. Mary Carroll of Macon, Mrs. Wesley Watkins of Gordon, Mrs. Joe Little of Rt. 1 Danville, and Mrs. Jimmy Rogers of Shelby, NC. The pallbearers were Benton Howell, Bill Fowler, Quinton Hill, Sidney Brown, H. L. Little, and Stanley Floyd. Fisher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
