Died in Twiggs county, Georgia, on the 17th of February 1884, of Organic Heart disease, Mrs. Mary A. Glover, in the 44th year of her ge. She was a woman warm hearted and true, who intentionally made no enemies, but many friends-friends who loved her with all of their hearts, and were true to the end. Her last hours were cheered by her two noble and loving children, Johnny and Sallie, whom she was permitted by an all-wise Providence to see grown, happily married and comfortably settled in life, bu alas! in the fullness of life" filled with the consciousness of many useful acts and noble deeds, the light of life suddenly went out, after a long and painful illness; only though, to enter a new and happy life, the promised reward of a true christian, who is faithful to the end. Her christian character was beautifully illustrated, during her whole life. She frequently spoke of death, and feared not to meet it-was ready and willing, and often thanked God for sparing her life, until her precious children were raised. She was unostentacious in ther manners, and unwavering in her friendship and ever ready to (rest of obit is missing) Additional Comments: newspaper clipping found among the belongings of my greataunt Lucy Marie Methvin.
