DC# 16073). Mr. Grimsley Buried Today Final rites were held this afternoon at 4:00 o'clock from the Prospect Church near Danville for Marion R. Grimsley, 42, who died in a Dublin hospital Saturday night after a sudden illness. The Rev. Paul Jones was the officiating minister and Townsend Brothers of Dublin had charge of arrangements. Burial followed in the Prospect Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles, Billy, John Q. and Henry Lee Grimsley, James and Bobby Sanders. Mr. Grimsley was born and reared in Twiggs County and had many friends and relatives in the Danville Community. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Agatha Parham of Danville; seven children, Mrs. Ray Hayes of Macon, Shirley, Marion, Kay, Maynard, Melvin and Billy Grimsley, all of Danville; two brothers, W.L. Grimsley of Dry Branch, and Irwin Grimsley of Danville; two sisters, Mrs. Manard Martin of Macon and Mrs. G.C. Hawkins of Dublin; two grandchildren, Kathy and Connie Hayes of Macon.
