DC# 27593) and Mary Cynthia (maiden name Chance) Grimsley was born abt 1873 and died 10-17-1953 (Ga. DC# 26704) and both are buried at Prospect. Danville Farmer is found dead beside Wagon Danville, Dec 12, William H. Grimsley, 65, a farmer who lived about one mile and a half from Danville, fell from his one horse wagon about 4:30 pm today and was found dead on U.S. Highway No 80. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Chance Grimsley; three sons, William and Marion Grimsley, Danville and Walter Lee Grimsley, Dry Branch; two daughters, Mrs. Maynard Martin, Macon and Mrs. G.C. Hawkins, Dublin; one stepson, Irwin Grimsley, Macon; three brothers, W.W. Grimsley, Danville, George O. Grimsley, Toomsboro, and J.L. Grimsley, Marietta and two sisters Mrs. Mamie Noles and Mrs. Fannie Wheeler both of Macon. Funeral services will be held at 3pm Sunday at Prospect Methodist Church.
