DC# 018597). His second wife, Zelma (Maiden name Goodroe) Grimsley was born 8-21-1907 and died 10-14-1992. Both are buried in Prospect Cemetery in Twiggs County. Irvin Grimsley SR. Jeffersonville. Irvin Grimsley Sr., 70, of Rte 1, Danville, died Monday in a Macon hospital following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday in Prsopect United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. His body will lie in state t the church after 10am. A lifelong resident of Twiggs County, Mr. Grimsley was a retired employee of the Georgia Kaolin Co. He was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Zelma Goodroe Grimsley of Danville; one daughter Mrs. Vaughn Horn of Macon; one son, Irvin C. Grimsley of Macon; two sisters, Mrs. Sally Martin of Macon and Mrs. G. C. Hawkins of Dublin; one stepson, J.E.Boland of Andersonville, Tenn; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
