DC # 33046) and is buried at Prospect Cemetery in twiggs County. From The Macon Telegraph 12-23-1936 Page 3A Grimsley, Twiggs Farmer, Expires Funeral to Be Held At Prospect Today George T. Grimsley, 71, retired Twiggs County farmer, died at his residence, 116 Arden Street, at 3:30PM yesterday after an illness of five days. Mr. Grimsley was a native of Twiggs County, the son of the Sherred Grimsley and Mrs. Betsy Howell Grimsley, and had made his home in Macon for four years coming here from Lyons, Ga. He was a member of the Prospect Methodist Church in Twiggs County. Surviving are his widow; six sons, Calvin, William, and Charles Grimsley of Macon; J. L. and J. H. Grimsley of Jacksonville; and S. B. Grimsley of Perry; eight daughters, Mrs. J. A. Anderson of Uvalda; Mrs. J. F. Martin of Jacksonville; Mrs. B. A. Guest, Mrs. T. E. Campbell, Mrs. C. W. Hardigree, Mrs. O. B. Lominick, Miss Myrtle Grimsley and Miss Sadie Mae Grimsley of Macon; 19 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Prospect church at 2PM today and interment will be in the Prospect cemetery.
