DC # 040782) and is buried at Prospect Cemetery in Twiggs County. From The Macon Telegraph 10-24-1988 Page B4 Charlie Griffin Grimsley Charlie Griffin Grimsley, 63, of Route 22, Box 490 died Saturday at his residence. Services will be held at 11AM Tuesday in Hart's Mortuary. Burial will be at 12:30PM in Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County, The Rev. W. R. Woodall will officiate. Mr. Grimsley was a retired civil service employee of Robins Air Force. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Survivors include two sons, Charles Grimsley of Milledgeville and George Grimsley of Gray; a daughter, Phyllis Rogers of North Augusta, SC; two brothers, William T. Grimsley of Macon and Calvin Grimsley of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Alma McGatha of Macon; and 4 grandchildren. The family will greet friends from 7 until 9 tonight in the funeral home.
