Jim Carroll Obituary Below From The Macon Telegraph 10-28-1990 Page D8 William Sherwood Grimsley William Sherwood Grimsley, 68, of Route 19, Box 2245, Irwinton Road, died Friday. Services will be held at 2PM Monday in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. John D. Hughes will officiate. A native of Toombs County, Mr. Grimsley lived in Macon for the past 56 years. He was a Baptist and was a retired self-employed upholstery worker. He was a World War II Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Ginger Fuller Grimsley of Macon; two sons, Terry Lee Grimsley of Macon and William Larry Grimsley of Albany; a sister, Alma McGatha of Macon; a brother, Calvin Grimsley of Jacksonville, Fla.; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The family may be contacted at the residence. Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, has charge of arrangements.
