Sallie Geneva (maiden name Fountain) Grimsley was born 11-21-1893 and died
4-10-1984 (GA DC # 011684) and is buried at Prospect Cemetery in Twiggs County.
Her parents were Tobias B. Fountain and Eliza Jane Joiner.

DANVILLE---Sallie Fountain Grimsley, 90, died Tuesday. Services will be held at
4:30PM Thursday in Prospect United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the
church cemetery. The Rev. Richard Trawick, the Rev. H. T. Gerrard, and the Rev.
Ron Casper will officiate.
Mrs. Grimsley, a native of Laurens County, was the oldest member of Prospect
United Methodist Church. She was a retired registered nurse.
Survivors include three sons, C. G. Grimsley, Charles H. Grimsley, and Billy H.
Grimsley, all of Danville; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Townsend Funeral Home of Dublin has charge of arrangements.
