Malissa Jane (maiden name Floyd) was born 8-7-1865 and died 2-26-1936 and is
buried at Prospect Cemetery in Twiggs County. Her father was Unknown Floyd and
her mother was Sara Ann Floyd Grimsley. Her stepfather was Sherwood Epp Grimsley
Jr.

Mrs. M. J. Grimsley

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ga., Feb 29---Mrs. M. J. Grimsley, 71, died Wednesday at her
home between Jeffersonville and Danville. 
Funeral services were held at Prospect church (Methodist), with Rev. H. P.
Langiois, former pastor of the Jeffersonville church, officiating, and wirh
Elder Chance assisting.
Mrs. Grimsley is survived by three children, C. G. Grimsley, Mrs. R. L. Stevens
and Mrs. E. O. Floyd, and 11 grandchildren, three of whom are Mr. Ulysses, Miss
Lavonia, and Mr. Nelson Fowlers, of this city.
