Chrissie Griffin Grimsley Sr. was born 12-13-1892 and died 10-11-1972 (GA DC #
042615) and is buried at Prospect Cemetery in Twiggs County. His parents,
Griffin Charlie Grimsley and Malissia Jane Floyd Grimsley are also buried there.

JEFFERSONVILLE---Chrissie Griffin Grimsley Sr., 79, of Rt. 1 Danville, died in a
Cochran hospital Wednesday.
Mr. Grimsley was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County, a retired farmer, a
member of Prospect Methodist Church, a Mason and a member of Cool Springs Lodge
No. 185.
Survivors, all of Danville, include his wife, Mrs. Sallie F. Grimsley; three
sons, C. G. Grimsley Jr., Charles W. Grimsley, Billie H. Grimsley; a sister,
Mrs. R. L. Stevens.
Arrangements will be announced by Four County Funeral Home in Jeffersonville.
