Jacksonville Duval County Florida
Jesse Lee Grimsley was born 9-9-1890 and died 5-10-1970 (FL DC# 70-028890) . His
father was George T. Grimsley and is buried at Prospect Methodist Chirch
Cemetery in Twiggs County and his mother was Maybell E. Winn Grimsley.

                                   GRIMSLEY

Jessie Lee Grimsley Sr., 79, who lived at 5529 Edenfield Road, died early
Sunday. Mr. Grimsley was born in Vidalia, Ga., and had lived in Jacksonville 45
years. He was a member of Arlington Baptist Church, and Carpenters Local 627.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Susie L. Grimsley; three daughters, Mrs. Janet
Simpson, Mrs. Georgia Lee Boree, and Mrs. Lillian Townsend; two sons, Fred O.
Grimsly and Jesse Lee Grimsley Jr., all of Jacksonville; eight sisters, Mrs.
Belle Martin, Mrs. Frances Anderson, and Mrs. Clara Fountain, all of
Jacksonville, Mrs. Huby Young of Macon, Ga., Mrs. Alma McGatha, Mrs. Sadie
Coleel, Mrs. Charlie Moore, and Mrs. Beatrice Crosby, all of Columbus, Ohio;
four brothers, J. H. Grimsley and Calvin T. Grimsley, both of Jacksonville,
William G. Grimsly and Charlie Grimsley, both of Macon, Ga.; 13 grandchildren
and 4 great-grandchildren. Arrangements later by Giddens-Griffith Edgewood
Funeral Home
