Susie (maiden name Lewis) Grimsley was born 9-15-1892 and died 3-8-1977 and is
buried at Riverside Memorial Park in Duval County Florida. Her husband was
Jessie Lee Grimsley Sr.

                      GRIMSLEY

Mrs. Susie Lewis Grimsley of 5529 Edenfield Road died Tuesday. She was born in
Georgia and had lived in Jacksonville since 1925. She was a member of the
Arlington Baptist Church and the Order of The Eastern Star Barnett Lodge 293.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lillian G. Townsend, Mrs. Georgia Lee
Boree, Mrs. Janet Simpson; two sons, Fred O. Grimsley and Jessie L. Grimsley
Jr.; one brother, Joe W. Lewis; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2PM Friday in the Edgewood Chapel of Giddens
Griffith, 729 South Edgewood woth Dr. C. M. Coalson and Rev. Charles Harvey
officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park with Eastern Star
Rites at the graveside. Pallbearers will be Frederick O. Grimsley Jr.. Michael
R. Simpson, W. R. Townsend, John L. Foster, Robert D, Boree, Daniel E. Peterson.
The family will receive friends from 7-9PM Thursday evening
