Services will be held at 3pm Sunday in Mt. Zion Baptist Church near Danville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Hamm, a lifelong resident of Twiggs County, was a retired farmer and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lottie Thompson Hamm of Dry Branch; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Lou Lynn and Mrs. Lizzie Hunnicutt, both of Macon, Mrs. Doris Johns of Gordon, Mrs. Betty Corbin of Milledgeville, and Mrs. Virginia Forgety of Houston, Tex.; two sons, Henry N. Hamm of Macon and William H. Hamm Jr. of Milledgeville; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Thompson of Macon, Mrs. Sallie Nobles and Mrs. J. W. Stokes, Both of Gordon. Williams Memorial Chapel of Gordon has charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: William was born 15 Oct 1901 to Averett Union Ham/Hamm and Louisa "Lou" Morgan Chance Ham/Hamm.
