                      William Hamm Sr., 73, Retired Farmer
 DRY BRANCH---William Henry Hamm Sr., 73, died Friday in a Macon hospital 
after a long illness. Services will be held at 3pm Sunday in Mt. Zion Baptist 
Church near Danville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
 Mr. Hamm, a lifelong resident of Twiggs County, was a retired farmer and a 
member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
 Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lottie Thompson Hamm of Dry Branch; five 
daughters, Mrs. Mary Lou Lynn and Mrs. Lizzie Hunnicutt, both of Macon, Mrs. 
Doris Johns of Gordon, Mrs. Betty Corbin of Milledgeville, and Mrs. Virginia 
Forgety of Houston, Tex.; two sons, Henry N. Hamm of Macon and William H. Hamm 
Jr. of Milledgeville; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Thompson of Macon, Mrs. Sallie 
Nobles and Mrs. J. W. Stokes, Both of Gordon.
 Williams Memorial Chapel of Gordon has charge of arrangements.

William was born 15 Oct 1901 to Averett Union Ham/Hamm and Louisa "Lou" Morgan 
Chance Ham/Hamm. Georgia death certificate #023027.
