Twiggs County New Era
Carrie Jane (maiden name Stevens) Ham was born 11-15-1884 and died 1-3-1944 (GA
DC# 2048) and is buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Twiggs County. Her parents were
Edward Newton Stevens and Faithey Lee Stevens.

 Mrs. Jack Ham

Funeral and burial services for Mrs. Jack Ham were conducted at Mt. Zion church
Wednesday morning. Mrs. Ham died Sunday night following an illness of a few
days. She was the former Miss Carrie Stevens, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Ed Stevens.
She is survived by her husband; four sons, Alva of Hawkinsville; Elmer of
Danville; Leonard H. of the Apalachicola Air Base, Fla.; and Frank of Ft. Bragg,
NC; four sisters, Mrs. Ellie Fowler, Mrs. Sallie Fowler, Mrs. Eli Nobles, and
Mrs. Cora Fowler; four brothers, Ed, Roland, Emmett, and M. H. Stevens.
