Hasty, 72 of Twiggs County, were held on April 22nd at Prospect Church. Mr. Hasty died at a sanatorium in Milledgeville where he had been ill for several days. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. D. Herrington, Pastor of Prospect Church, and interment was in cemetery there. Mr. Hasty had been a life long resident of Twiggs County. He is surviverd by one brother, Charlie Hasty of Danville and five sons and two daughters, all of this county. NOTE--This obituary is transcribed as written; however, he had two sisters that I know of that also survived him: Mrs. Henrietta "Hennie" Hasty Fowler and Miss Sadie M. Hasty. Additional Comments: William was born about Oct 1864, although his obituary would indicate that he was born about 1859. His parents were Joseph W. "Josiah" Hasty and Polly Mary Chance Hasty.
