He was a retired farmer. Services will be held at 4:30pm today in Allgood Memorial Chapel in Jeffersonville. Burial will be in Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery in Jeffersonville. The Revs. Wesley Jones and Dale Thornton will officiate. A lifelong resident of Twiggs County, Mr. Hasty was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Velma Lee Hasty of Jeffersonville; five daughters, Willie Maude Rickerson, Mildred Howell, and Hilda Morris, all of Jeffersonville, Joyce Marie Lucas of Danville, and Geraldine Bloodworth of Roberta; a sister, Mary Lou Floyd of Macon; 25 grandchildren and several great- grandchildren.
