                               Velma Lee Hasty
 JEFFERSONVILLE---Velma Lee Hasty, 76, of Route 2 died Friday at his (sic) 
residence.
 Services will be held at 3pm today in Allgood Memorial Chapel in 
Jeffersonville. Burial will be in Prospect United Methodist Church in Twiggs 
County. The Rev. Wesley Jones will officiate.
 A native of Twiggs County, Mrs. Hasty was a homemaker and a member of 
Prospect United Methodist Church.
 Survivors include five daughters, Willie Maude Rickerson, Mildred Howell, 
Hilda Morris, all of Jeffersonville, Joyce Lucas of Danville, and Geraldine 
Bloodworth of Roberta; four sisters, Hazel Fowler and Lavera Rickerson, both 
of Danville, Annie Bell Stone of Jeffersonville and Dora Mae Floyd of 
Allentown; 25 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
 

Additional Comments:
Velma Lee was born 1 Sep 1911 to Harvey Levi Sauls and Mina Mae Unknown Sauls. 
Georgia death certificate #011936. Her husband was Platt Glynn Hasty who is 
also buried at Prospect UMC Cemetery.
