DC# 026515) and is buried at Dublin Memorial Gardens. From The Dublin Courier Herald 6-18-1994 page 2A Hembree F. Helton DANVILLE----Services for Hembree Forrest Helton, 81, of Fourth Street, will be held at 3PM Sunday at Allentown United Methodist Church. The Rev. Gordon Goodwill, the Rev. Carl McDonald, and the Rev. Steve Hamrick will officiate and burial will be in Dublin Memorial Gardens. A lifelong resident of Twiggs County, Mr. Helton was the son of the late Benjamin F. and Hannah Mae Chance Helton, was an Army veteran of World War II, was a retired supervisor at Robins Air Force Base, and served as steward at Danville Methodist Church where he also served as church treasurer as well as Sunday School Superintendent, and was a member of Allentown United Methodist Church where he served as steward. He died Thursday in a Dublin hospital. Survivors include his wife, Martha D. Helton of Danville; a sister, Nellie H. Allen of Irwinton; and several nieces and nephews. The family may be contacted at the residence and will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at Allgood Memorial Chapel in Jeffersonville, who has charge of arrangements.
