Carrie Jane (maiden name Sauls) Hill was born 10-5-1873 and died 12-9-1942 (GA
DC # 28996) and is buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Twiggs County. Her husband,
Edgar Lee Hill, is also buried there.

  Mrs. E. L. Hill

Mrs. E. L. Hill, 69, of near Danville, died suddenly at her home Wednesday, Dec. 9.
Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at Mt. Zion church, the Rev. J.
E. Townsend and Rev. I. L. Bishop officiating.
Mrs. Hill, a lifelong resident of this county, was a member of Mt. Zion, and was
long active in church and community activities.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, R. F., Danville; C. D., Maimi, Fla.; and
W. W. Hill, US Army in California; a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Chance, Danville; and
a sister, Miss Ruth Sauls, Danville.
