Mitch Howell was born 10-1-1885 and died 2-8-1970. His wife Annie Evans Howell
is also buried there.

Mitch Howell Rites
Set Today in Danville

Cochran.  Services for Mitch Howell, 84 of Danville, who died Sunday in the
Macon Hospital, will be held Tuesday at 3pm in the Lucy Chapel Methodist Church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Howell was born in Twiggs County and had lived in Bleckley County most of
his life. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Lucy Chapel Methodist
Church and the Cool Springs Masonic Lodge No 185 for 52 years. Masonic graveside
rites will be observed.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Annie Lee Evans Howell of Danville; six
daughters, Mrs. Maude Barlow, Mrs. W.M. Davis, Mrs. Theo Souther, and Mrs. F.C.
Hamrick, all of Macon and Mrs. T.A. Allen Sr and Mrs. Alvin Roxier, both of
Danville; two sons, W.L. Howell of Danville; and J.M. Howell of Cochran; and a
sister, Mrs. Beulah Evans of Cochran.

The body will be at Fisher Funeral Home until 2pm. Tuesday when it will be taken
to lie in state at the church until the funeral hours.

The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mr.s W.L. Howell of Rtw 1 Danville.
