                                     Joyce Jones Rites Tuesday
 Funeral services for Mrs. Earl (Joyce) Jones, 318 S. Howard, who died in 
Community Hospital Sunday, will be conducted from the Martin Funeral Home 
Chapel Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 2pm with Rev. R. L. Vincent officiating. Burial 
will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
 Mrs. Jones was born Aug. 3, 1918 in Waycross, Ga. She was 56. She came to 
Oklahoma in 1940 and lived at Hugo for two years, then to Cordell where she 
lived for 10 years before moving to Elk City.
 She was married to Earl Jones, Sept. 12, 1949 at Tucunicari, NM. She was a 
member of the Methodist church and had been a nurse's aide at Community 
Hopsital for some eight years.
 Survivors include her husband, Earl, of the home; 2 sons, Keith and Tony 
Jones of the home; her mother, Mrs. Jannie Frazier, Elk City, and a brother, 
Hollis M. Windom of Albuquerque, NM.

Additional Comments:
Melba parents were Charlie Windom and Emma Jane "Jannie" Williams Windom 
Frazier.
