Lamb Funeral services for Marion Foster Lamb, 63, who died Thursday at his residence in Jones County, will be held in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at 2pm today. Elder W. H. Hancock and the Rev. Paul Martin will officiate and burial will be in the Cool Springs Cemetery in Twiggs County. Pallbearers will be nephews; Earl Murphy, Kelly Nobles, J. C. Wright Jr., Gerald Stafford, Richmond Spears, and Jimmy Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Foster, L. K. Liston, Jesse Mac Walker, David Parker, William Knight, E. J. Stevens, W. C. Simmeson, M. D. Willette, James Floyd, Eldridge Suddeth, Lavasia Little, Ocie Barrentine, and Paul Hinton. Mr. Lamb was born in Twiggs County, the son of James Richmond Lamb and Mrs. Lizzie Partin Lamb, and had lived in Jones County most of his life. He was a member of the Baptist denomination and was a machinist with the Bibb Manufacturing Co. Survivors include his wife, Miss Sadie Wright of Jones County; one daughter, Mrs. James J. Floyd of Macon; one son, Robert C. Lamb of Philadelphia, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Additional Comments: Marion was born 14 Apr 1902. Georgia death certificate #024677.
