                     C. E. Lamb 78, Dies at Home
 Carlton Ezekiel Lamb, 78, Route 1 Jeffersonville, died at 6:20AM today at his 
residence following an illness of a week. Mr. Lamb was a farmer and life long 
resident of Twiggs County, having been born there Sept. 8, 1871, the son of 
Henry C. Lamb and Mrs. Louisa Vaughn Lamb, both life long residents of Twiggs 
County.
 He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church at Carey, Ga.
 Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Meadows Lamb; three daughters, Mrs. Henry 
Faulk, Jeffersonville, Mrs. A. L. Waters, Macon, and Mrs. L. W. Arnold, 
Cleveland, Ohio; three sons, P. R. Lamb, Macon, A. C. Lamb, USCG, Baltimore, 
Md., and John. Lamb, Detriot, Mich.; three brothers, Will Lamb, Macon, Walton 
Lamb, Jeffersonville, and Grover C. Lamb, Cuthbert, Ga.; thirteen 
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church 
at Carey, Ga. The Rev. Gresham will officiate and burial will be in the 
churchyard. The pallbearers will be H. A. McCallum, Will Marchman, M. L. 
Stone,  John W. Faulk, D. J. Stone, Dan S. Faulk, Coley R. Walters, and Jack 
Vaughn. 
 Memorial Chapel is in charge of arangements.
