                                        William H. Lamb

 Funeral services for William Henry Lamb, 96, who died at his residence, 387 
Nesbit Place Thursday, will be held at 11am today in the Mount Calvary Baptist 
Church in Carey, Ga., where the body will lie in state from 10:30 to 11am.

 Rev. O. B. Hayman will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. 
Pallbearers will be Charles McDonald, Willard McDonald, Steve Richardson, P. 
Robert Lamb, Carroll Floyd Jr., and Sam Floyd.

 Lamb, a retired Twiggs County farmer, was born in Twiggs County the son of 
Henry Lamb and Mrs. Louise Vaughn Lamb and had lived here for ten years. He was 
a member of the First Baptist Church.

 Lamb served for a number of years on the Board of Education and the Welfare 
Board of Twiggs County.

 Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Carden and Mrs. O. E. Dixon, both of 
Macon; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Grover 
C. Lamb, Warner Robins.

 Hart's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
