His parents, William Marion Little and Annie Lou (maiden name Chance) Little as well as his first wife, Velma (maiden name Phillips) Little are also buried there. Velma's parents, Jim J. Phillips and Fannie Lee (maiden name Fowler) Phillips are also buried there. J.F. Little Jeffersonville, Services for Elder J.F. "Doc" Little will be at 3pm Wednesday in Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church, Danville, with burial in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Little, 91, died Monday Feb 12, 2001. The son of the late William and Annie Little, he was a retired self-employed building conractor and farmer. He was an elder in the Primitive Baptist Church and member of Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church. The widower of Velma Mae Phillips Little, he was a former Twiggs County commissioner. Survivors include his wife, Inez B. Little; children, Agnes L. Nobles of Danville and J.W. Little of Griffin; stepchildren Janice Pope and Larry Stone both of Jeffersonville; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight in Reece Funeral Homse and may be contacted at the Nobles residence.
