Her husband, Joyce Johnny "Bud" Long, is also buried there. From The Macon Telegraph 7-21-2005 Edith Elizabeth Long -COCHRAN- Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Elizabeth Long, 71, of Cochran who died Tuesday, July 19, 2005 will be held at 11A.M. Friday, July 22, 2005 in the Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home with Rev. Buford Raffield and Rev. Rusty Stewart officiating. Burial will be in El Sharath Church Cemetery. -Mrs. Long was born in Bibb County, the daughter of the late Forrest Milton Sanders and Fannie Durden Sanders. She was the widow of Joyce J. Long. She was a retired Dietary Aide at Bryant Nursing Center, homemaker and a member of El Sharath Baptist Church. -Survivors include one daughter, Kathy L. (Billy) Williams of Cochran; five Sons, Ronnie M. (Jill) Long of Hawkinsville, Mike (Lynn) Long of Laurens County, Bruce Long of Montrose, Forrest Long and Robert "Hoss" (Lorie) Long, both of Cochran; two Sisters, Peggy Van Wilson of Escondido, California and Ann Marie Crucan of Goldvein, Virginia; one Brother, Eddie Sanders of Griffin. -The family may be contacted at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Williams, Daisy Adams Road and will meet friends at Fisher Funeral Home from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.
