John Willie Dinson "Will" Lucas was born 3-25-1889 and died 5-22-1950 (GA DC#
11641) and is buried in Danville City Cemetery in Wilkinson County.

 J. W. D. Lucas Dies At Danville Home

J. W. D. (Will) Lucas, retired school teacher and music teacher, died
unexpectedly at his residence at Danville at 8PM Monday.
Mr. Lucas was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County, the son of Henry Lucas and
Mrs. Smithie Pope Lucas. He was a member of the Danville Baptist Church and the
Danville Camp of Woodmen of the World. 
He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Lillie Floyd, Danville; and several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Hart's Mortuary
