Mary Alma (maiden name Floyd) Lucas was born 1-1-1907 and died 9-5-1985 (GA DC#
033664) and is buried at Lucy Chapel Cemetery in Twiggs County.

Mrs. Lucas

COCHRAN---Alma F. Lucas, 78, died Thursday in a local hospital. Services will be
held at 2PM today in Lucy Chapel Methodist Church in Twiggs County. Burial will
be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Gary Johnson will officiate.
Mrs. Lucas, a native of Twiggs County, lived in Bleckley County for the past 60
years. She was a homemaker and a member of Lucy Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, John Thomas Lucas of Cochran and Ralph Lucas of
Zachary, La.; two daughters-in-law, Ernestine Lucas of Cochran and Emma Lucas of
Zachary; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews.
Fisher Funeral Home in Cochran has charge of arrangements.
