MORTUARY.

J. D. Martin, Jeffersonville, Ga.
Macon, Ga., September 2-
A particularly sad death is reported today from Jeffersonville.  J. D. Martin, 
a young man who had been in attendance at the Mercer summer school, contracted 
typhoid fever and soon after returning home suffered a relapse from which he 
died Thursday.  He was a brother to Manager A. F. Martin, of the Mercer ball 
team of last season.  The funeral occurred this afternoon.
