Interment wil be in the Hammock cemetery near Griswoldville. Mrs. Martin was a resident of 114 Duncan Avenue, this city, and died at 7:30 o'clock Tuesday night at a Macon hospital. She had resided here four years. She was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons and one daughter. Frank, Clifford and Matchen of Griswoldville and Miss Edna Martin of Macon; mother, Mrs. Mazie Nichols of Griswoldville; two brothers and one sister; Olin and Jim Frank Hammock of Griswoldville and Miss Annie Hammock of Jeffersonville, Ga. Additional Comments: Teedie Hammock Martin was the daughter of Elijah Franklin Hammock and Mazie Lee Williams Hammock who married Carey M. Nichols after the death of Elijah Franklin, her first husband. Teedie Hammock Martin was married to Henry James Martin, son of George W. and Betty Clance Martin. Both Henry James and Teedie are buried in unmarked graves in the old Hammock Family Cemetery off Hammock Road.
