Death of a Child

Tuesday morning at 1:15 o'clock, despite all that physicians and loving hands
could do, the little spirit of Frances Louise Martin, the 8 month old baby of
Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Martin, Jr. wafted its way back to the Father who had given it
so short a while.  Little Louise was spared so her parents just long enough to
bind closely their hearts to her with ties that hard to sever.

Funeral services were held from the residence Wednesday afternoon at 2:20
o'clock and the boyd was laid to rest in the city cemetery. The pallbearers were
J.G. Rockmore, W.H. McCrary, R.C. Balcom and R.A. Harrison.
