Nobles, 94, of Route 1 died Saturday in a Hawkinsville hospital. Born in Washington County, he lived in Bleckley County most of his life and was the son of the late Johnnie Nobles and Lola Phillips Nobles. He was a member and the oldest deacon of Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Bleckley County Farm Bureau. Survivors: wife, Lottie Mae Nobles of Danville; children, Mildred Wimberly of Monticello and Bobby Nobles of Danville; four grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Services: 4pm Monday in Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Twiggs County. Burial in the church cemetery. Elders Sam Bryant, Franklin Bryant, and Rubert Nobles will officiate. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 7 to 9pm today in Fisher Funeral Home, Cochran. The family may be contacted at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Nobles, Route 1, Nobles Road, Danville. NOTE--There are errors in this obituary. His parents were John Henry Nobles and Lula Permelia Howell Nobles. It states he was born in Washington County; however, his parents were married in Pulsaki County and are in the 1900 Census in Pulaski County, although he may have been born there. Additionally, some sources list his middle initial as E. as opposed to N. Additional Comments: Lovie was born 4 Sep 1898. Georgia death certificate #021759.
