Zion in Twiggs County. Her husband, Claude Linwood "Buddy" Nobles is also buried there. From The Macon Telegraph 1-26-2002 Page 4 Alma Fowler Nobles -DANVILLE - Alma Fowler Nobles, 87, of Rt. 2, died Wednesday in Macon. -Services will be held at 3P.M. Saturday, January 26, 2002, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Twiggs County. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Scott Morris will officiate. -Mrs. Nobles, a life long resident of Twiggs County, was the daughter of the late Frank F. and Mary Ellen Ardell Stevens Fowler. She was the widow of the late Claude Linwood "Buddy" Nobles. She was retired from L & H Shirt Factory and was a homemaker. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. -Survivors include one daughter, Peggy N. Floyd of Danville; one son, Claude Aubrey Nobles of Danville; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; four step great grandchildren, one step great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. -In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mount Zion Baptist Church Building Fund, Rt. 1 Box 4141, Hwy 358, Danville, GA 31017 or the Georgia Baptist Childrens Home. -Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville has charge of arrangements.
