Zion Cemetery in Twiggs County. From The Macon Telegraph 7-20-1961 Page 3A Claude Nobles, Danville, Dies Funeral services for Claude Linwood (Buddy) Nobles, 50, of Danville, who died in an Atlanta hospital at 11AM yesterday after a long illness, will be held in Mt. Zion Baptist Church at 4PM Friday. Rev. W. Paul Jones and Rev. James W. Waters will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. A native of Twiggs County, Nobles was the son of the late Kinch Nobles and the late Annie Arnold Nobles. He had been a resident of Twiggs County all his lfe and attended the public schools of Twiggs County. He was maintenance superintendent for the Board of Education of Twiggs County, a member of the Woodmen of the World Camp, and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Nobles is survived by his wife, the former Miss Alma Fowler; one son, Aubry Nobles, Jeffersonville; one daughter, Mrs. Peggy Floyd, Danville; five brothers, Richard Nobles, Miami, Fla., Joe Nobles, Tampa, Fla., Harold Nobles, Columbia, SC, Roscoe Nobles, Warner Robins, and Kinch Nobles, Danville; three sisters, Mrs. Bob Skains, Smyrna, Mrs. G. C. Jones, Marietta, and Mrs. Paul Wade, Collins, Miss.; step-mother, Mrs. Kinch Nobles, Danville; and three grandchildren.
