Nobles Dies Unexpectedly At Home Here Andrew Willis Nobles, 71, died unexpectedly at his home in Montezuma early Tuesday morning. Mr. Nobles, formerly of Fort Valley was a member of the Trial Branch Primitive Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at 3pm Wednesday at the Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church near Cochran with the Rev. Ben Lloyd officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Minnie Lee Lamb; four daughters, Mrs. J. I. Pope, Mrs. G. F. Holland, and Mrs. Mack Carter, all of Thomaston, and Mrs. E. T. Murphy of Cordele; two sons, Kelly of Cordele and A. J. Jr. of Macon; hos father, F. W. Nobles of Cochran; five sisters, Mrs. Freeman Lamb, Mrs. John Persons, Mrs. Lonnie Berryhill, all of Cochran, Mrs. Robert M. Lloyd of Dexter, and Mrs. John Lloyd of Macon; a brother, Sherman Nobles of Danville; 21 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
