Zion Cemetery in Twiggs County. Her father, William Thomas "Tobe" Floyd is buried at Lucy Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County and her mother, Mary Susie Arnold Floyd is buried at Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County. From The Macon Telegraph 6-11-1978 Page 12C Mrs. Romie Odom Mrs. Romie Lee Odom, 79, of 7531 Hawkinsville Road, died Saturday in a local hospital. Services will be held at 2PM Monday in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Twiggs County. Mrs. Odom, a native of Twiggs County, lived in Macon 30 years. She was a Baptist. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Joyce Perkins of Macon, Mrs. Mary Gay of Palm Beach, Fla., Mrs. Eloise Gordon of Savannah, and Mrs. Sue Wiggins of Macon; a son, Thomas E. Odom of Macon; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Lucas of Cochran, Mrs. Nora Floyd of Jeffersonville, and Mrs. Ruby Hunnicutt of Macon; 28 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
