(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net July 7, 2013, 8:22 pm The Macon Telegraph 2-11-2003 Page 4 Franklin Phillips DANVILLE - Funeral services for Mr. Franklin Phillips, 73, of Danville, who died Monday, February 10, 2003, will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at 3P.M. in Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Franklin Bryant, Elder Dan Bryant and Rev. Scott Morris officiating. Burial will be in Cool Springs Church Cemetery. Mr. Phillips was born in Twiggs County, the son of the late John C. Phillips and Birdie Lee Rozier Phillips. He was the widower of Pauline Bryant Phillips. He was retired from J. M. Huber Corporation and was a farmer. He was a member of Twiggs County Farm Bureau. He attended Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons: Joe Phillips and Donnie Phillips, both of Danville; one sister, Jewel Brown of Danville; two brothers: Johnny Phillips of Danville and B. W. Phillips of Milledgeville; five grandchildren and five great- grandchild-ren. Family will meet friends at Fisher Funeral Home Tuesday night from 7:00 until 9:00P.M. and may be contacted at the residence of Mr. Joe Phillips, 656 Phillips Road, Twiggs County.
