                           Mrs. J. J. Phillips

 Funeral services for Mrs. J. J. Phillips of Danville Route 1, who died in a 
local hospital Wednesday, were held at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church near 
Danville at 3pm Thursday. The Rev. M. J. Bennett, the Rev. James W. Waters, and 
the Rev. C. L. Larry officiated and burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.

 Mrs. Phillips, the former Miss Fannie Lee Fowler, was born in Twiggs County 
and had lived there all of her life. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist 
Church and of the W. M. U.

Additional Comments:
Fannie was born 11 Jul 1895 to Frank F. Fowler and Mary Ellen "Ellie" Ardell 
Stevens Fowler.
